Opening times

The Big Bang Café follows the rhythm of the particles, open in continuous flow from 8:00 to 17:00 offering a wide range of food and drinks all day long.

From 8:00 to 11:00, start your day with a "Sunrise Hypercharge" phase for an energy boost, followed by a period from 15:30 to 17:00 dedicated to "Missing Momentum Snacks" to enjoy delicious energizing snacks. A variety of hot drinks, coffee, tea (fair trade) and hot chocolate await you.

Quench your thirst with our locacular drinks, "Cosmic" Cups (ginger lemonade, cold tea) or opt for our "Atomic Squeezes" (fruit juices) for a refreshing reaction.

For the hungry, we offer a selection of pastries, "Multiverse Stacks" (snacks, sandwiches, paninis, salads) and "Gluon Boosters" (pastries and desserts), available all day long. Come and try our "Dessert de l'Univers".

From 11:00 to 15:30, don't miss our unmissable "Big Bun Colliders" (homemade burgers) available for lovers of lively matter (meat) and fans of vegetarian matter (vegetarian)!

Ordering

To explore our culinary universe and order our Supernovae snacks, simply connect to the Wi-FI CERN-Visitors, scan the QR code, it's simple and convenient! You can also order at our cash desk.
If you have special dietary requirements, our team will be happy to dissect the composition of each dish in detail.

Payments

Payments are accepted in cash (CHF or EUR) and change is always given in CHF. Most debit/credit cards are accepted.
