Over the past 100 years, physics has advanced our understanding of nature to an unimaginable degree. The fundamental laws governing many of the building blocks of the Universe have been discovered, and the evolution of the Universe can be traced back 13.8 billion years to almost the beginning: the Big Bang.
The 13th edition of CineGlobe will take place from May 15 to 19 at The CERN Science Gateway and CERN IdeaSquare !
This festival inspired by science of all kinds will feature short film screenings, hands-on workshops, immersive experiences and special evenings accessible to everyone.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a scientist or an engineer at the world’s largest physics laboratory? Then join one of our lab workshops! All workshops are delivered by volunteers from CERN’s scientific community in Science Gateway’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Our activities run from Tuesday to Sunday, from 09:00 till 17:00. Last entry is at 16:30.
Most activities are freely accessed. The guided tours and lab workshops listed below require on-site registration upon availability and are reserved for families and individual visitors (1 to 11 visitors).
The programme is subject to last-minute changes. Check this page regularly.
As for every Monday, CERN is closed to visitors on Monday 1 April (and this is not a joke) :-)
