An evening with Al Gore

Global challenges and the role of science

Join us for a remarkable evening with Al Gore, the 45th Vice President of the United States of America. On the 8th of November 2024, at 19:30, Al Gore will deliver a compelling presentation at CERN Science Gateway.

Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2007, jointly with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), for his pioneering work to put the climate crisis on the political agenda and create awareness worldwide that action has to be taken to meet this global challenge.
