Tram 18 disruption in August
Due to roadworks on the Route de Meyrin, tram line 18 service will be impacted in August 2025. Please take this into account when planning your journeys. Expect an additional travel time of 10 to 15 minutes between CERN, downtown Geneva, and the airport.

From 13 June (as from 14.00) to 24 August 2025, CERN invites you to visit Levitation, a captivating exhibition by the renowned Slovak glass artist Ján Zoričák, hosted at the Globe of Science and Innovation. Presented with the kind support of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the UN in Geneva, Levitation beautifully bridges the world of fine art with the wonders of cutting-edge science.

CineGlobe 2025 - Interwoven
From May 14 to 18, 2025, CineGlobe returns to CERN’s Science Gateway and the Globe of Science and Innovation. Open to all, the festival offers an immersive experience blending cinema, science and new technologies.
Inspired by quantum entanglement and film editing, this edition 'Interwoven' explores deep connections between storytelling and reality. In partnership with Virtual Switzerland, CineGlobe presents a unique immersive zone featuring Swiss and international VR experiences.
Museum Night on the evening of May 17
CERN is joining Geneva Museum Night for the first time!
For its 11th edition, the theme of Myths and Legends will run through all activities offered by 31 cultural, scientific, and artistic institutions.
In addition to our immersive multimedia exhibits, you can enjoy exclusive hands-on workshops, two interactive improv shows, and immersive XR experiences. Some activities are organized as part of the CineGlobe Film Festival, which takes place from May 14 to 18, 2025.
